Setup Guide

(~5 minutes)
The “Dial In Warm Up”
1. Set up the Dial In Putting Alignment System on a
straight putt. (See reverse side for setup
instructions)
2. Grab 3-4 golf balls and hit 10 putts focusing on your feet, club face and eye alignement with the
device. Get comfortable with the setup and follow the sight line with your eyes to the stake behind the hole. This will calibrate your body and eyes to the target.
3. Next, hit 10 more putts focusing on the speed. To give you the best chance at making it, the ball should end up past the hole in line with the stake if you miss.
4. Now that your speed and alignment are set, try to make 3 in a row before heading to the tee. Use your usual putting routine on each to mimic how
you putt on the course.
FAQ
Your Questions Answered For More Confidence on the Green
Is the Putting Alignment System just a warm up tool?
Although it was designed to get golfers "dialed in" before a round, it has many uses outside of a pre round warm up. We've provided multiple drills on our Tutorial & Drills page to improve your putting outside of just warming up. Unlike other putting training aids, our Putting Alignment System covers all six of the fundamentals to a good putting stroke without forcing golfers to significantly adjust their stroke. It will ensure you are doing all the important things right while allowing you to keep your own unique putting style.
Why is it so important to Dial In your alignment before every round?
Putting alignment isn’t just about setup, it’s a daily recalibration of your mind and body. Just as your swing feels different each day, so does your visual perception, balance, and posture. Our putting alignment aid ensures you’re starting every round with a clean slate, locked in both mentally and physically. When your alignment is dialed in, your reads are more accurate, your stroke is more consistent, and your confidence skyrockets. This simple step builds the foundation for a successful day on the greens.
How long does it take to warm up with the Dial In Putting System
Our product was developed with the standard golfer in mind that doesn't have the luxury of long warmups before rounds. Setup takes less than a minute and we recommend about a 5 minute putting session to get all aspects of your putting where they need to be. Please see the tutorial page for our recommended warm up and setup instructions.
Doesn't a putting mirror work the same?
Putting mirrors can be good tools for certain aspects of putting however they don't encompass all of the key aspects of putting and when used outside aren't very easy on the eyes. The key differences are ease of setup/travel, visualization of the sight line, center strike assurance from the putting gate and consistent feet/stance alignment. Also, most putting mirrors are more than double the thickness of our device which is uncomfortable to putt off and can significantly affect your setup and strike on the ball.
